Corporate social responsibility (CSR)
Even in the fashion industry!
Perhaps the winds of change are actually blowing.. perhaps the 21st century really will bring a new attitude towards both our collective consciense and responsibilites for the world. This is a huge change from ten years ago when multi-national corporates were fighting for their right to keep using PVC and freons in their products.. I sense that the awareness of climate issues, social inbalances and effects of globalization and exploitation of natural resources is growing, if ever so slightly.
You can keep being negative, but something really is happening. I want to believe that we can change the world. But are we early enough? Also see post Hotet mot vår överlevnad.
